Ras Lanuf is a port located at the Gulf of Sirte on the North African coast, 650 km east of Tripoli and 345km southwest of the city of Benghazi. The harbour is about 3 km from the Ras Lanuf camp and office premises. The port started operating in 1964. |
Fields
| The producing fields operated by Harouge are located in the Sirte Basin. The main fields are described below and are covered within the contract areas defined by the new Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements entered into in 2008 between the National Oil Corporation and Petro-Canada. |

| Amal Field (Area 90/91) | |

The Amal Field, the largest and most important of Harouge’s oil fields, is located in the eastern Sirte basin, some 50 km north of the Augila oasis, covering a large area measuring about 35 x 120km. It is surrounded by 10 other concession or contract areas operated by AGOCO, Wintershall and Zuitina. |
| Farigh Field (Area 107) | |
| The Farigh Field was discovered in 1969 and is located in the eastern Sirte Basin, some 70 km south of the Amal Field. | |
| Ghani Field (Area 87/88/103) | |

The Ghani Field was discovered in 1972 in the western Sirte Basin, some 50 km north of the Zella oasis. The Ghani Farrud sweet oil reservoir was discovered in January 1978, while the Ghani main station was built and commissioned in 1980. |
| Tibisti Field (Area 89/105) | |

The Tibisti Field was discovered in 1963 and is located in the middle of the Sirte basin, some 80 km south of the Marada oasis, covering an area of about 3,000 sq km and is surrounded by many oil fields operated by other companies. |
| EnNaga Field (Area 120/136) | |

The En Naga Field is located in the southern, central part of the Sirte Basin, about 150 km southwest of the Tibisti Field. This field is Harouge’s latest development and went on production in 2003. |
