On 6-7 July 2010, Harouge Oil Operation’s Management Team conducted its second quarter meeting at the Company’s Marine Terminal at Ras Lanuf. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Operator’s Management Committee, Dr. Abdulsalam Rabae, members of the Operator’s Management Committee, by the General Managers and Managers of the Company, as well as by key personnel of the Company’s production sites. The meeting was focused on the achievements made during the second quarter 2010, and on the plans and targets for the remainder of the year. Also, concerns and issues of the individual field locations were identified, and solutions and plans to solve such issues were discussed, in order achieve the goals for 2010, namely to safely, efficiently and successfully complete the projects and programs of operation and maintenance planned for 2010.   On Tuesday 24th of May2010, the 43rd meeting of Owners Committee was held in the conference hall of Harouge Oil Operations campus. Mr. Abulgassem Shengier the chairman of Owners’ Committee has opened the meeting after that Dr. Abdulsalam Rubae Chairman of the Management Committee has reviewed briefly the achievements of the first half of 2010, as well as targets for the rest year. On Wednesday 10/02/2010, Dr. Abdulsalam M. Rabae Chairman of Management Committee Harouge Oil Operations, met with Mr. Mark Little Senior Vice President for International & Offshore Petro-Canada, Mr. William Duncan Petro-Canada Group of companies Libya and Mr. James McClure member of Harouge O.M.C.

During the meeting various mutual aspects was discussed.

  On Sunday 03/01/2010 a meeting was held in the main conference hall where Harouge Oil Operations was reviewing what has been achieved by the targeted year of 2009, and the estimated budget for the year 2010. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of (NOC) Dr. Shokri Ghanem, Members of the Management Committee and a number of the General Managers in the (NOC). as well as from Harouge Oil Operations company attended by the Chairman and the Members of Management Committee, General Managers, Managers of Departments, Supervisors and Coordinators.

Mr. Rick Roger, General Manager of Canadian Suncor Company accompanied by Dr. Abdulsalam Rubae the Chairman of Harouge Oil Operations, in a field visit to Amal field in 09/11/2009. where they have reviewed the progress of work, and visited the production facilities, maintenance departments and drilling rigs. Mr. Roger stressed that the measurements, which are characterized by the production stations & the drilling rigs working up to the global measures. As Dr. Rubae accompanied Mr. Jordon Creek the vice-General Manager of Suncor Company, in a field visit to Amal & Ghani fields on 23/11/2009, both have a look at the production processes and the different stages of maintenance. Mr. Kreek stressed his deep appreciation of what has been done concerning the work of the production processes. Mr. Creek confirmed in correspondence sent to Dr. Rubae his deep gratitude and admiration for the good level, which amounts to measure the global level of constructions and operating drilling rigs. He thanked the Chairman & Members of the Management Committee, and all Harouge staff for the efforts which were made in order to upgrade these productive sites. [More]
